The thank-you they all deserve
This video is going viral in Michigan right now and gives us the major feels. These locals are giving a warm thank-you to nurses changing shifts at Beaumont in Royal Oak.
“What up, doe!”
Imagine you’re 12 hours into your hospital shift during the worst outbreak you’ve ever seen in your career and a joyous voice shouts “What up doe!” It’ss none other than Detroit sensation Lizzo and all her fabulousness with a special treat.
She sent her love and support to Henry Ford Hospital this week for a little pick-me-up for our healthcare workers.
A message of encouragement
Actor Mark Wahlberg sent a special message to Beaumont workers during the outbreak, too.
As the owner of three Michigan restaurants, not only did he supply a hearty meal for all the staff, but he also donated iPads to help patients communicate with their families and caregivers.
We love it.
