MICHIGAN — Fifty two point five percent of Michigan residents 16 and up have been vaccinated against COVID-19, and Michigan’s youth ages 12-15 are now approved to receive the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine, as the Detroit Free Press reports. Michiganders are steadily working toward the goal of reaching herd immunity to the coronavirus by way of vaccinating our population. And the Mitten’s small businesses are continuing to receive COVID relief, as Gov. Gretchen Whitmer is committed to supporting the state’s small businesses.
The temperature is rising in the state, and summer is a little over a month away. Cars will begin to permeate Michigan’s highways for COVID-safe road trips. BBQ grills will be lit soon, and Michigan’s vacation spots like the Upper Peninsula, mid-Michigan, and various other locations will begin to fill up with Michganders and tourists ready to relax and safely enjoy what our midwestern state has to offer.
