Weedgets’ new Maze-X pipe cools, filters, and delivers a surprisingly smooth hit that even joint loyalists can appreciate. I might even ditch my rolling papers.

MICHIGAN— I’ll admit it: I’m a joint guy.
Pipes are fine in a pinch, but usually they hit too hot, get grimy too fast, and taste like old resin after a few days. So, when a “medically-focused” company called Weedgets told me their new pipe could cool down, filter, and smooth out every puff, I figured it was just stoner snake oil.
Then, I tried the Maze-X. And holy hell, this thing actually works.

Weedgets designed the Maze-X like an engineer on a mission to save lungs everywhere.
The bowl is made of borosilicate glass with small holes at the base. The body is made from hard anodized aluminum and silicone, making it feel both space-age and indestructible.
And inside the shell, the real magic happens: a patented spiral “maze” chamber beneath the aluminum forces the smoke to travel a longer path, cooling it down before it hits your mouth. It’s science you can feel in real time, with no burning throat and no hacking up a lung after a big hit.

The glass bowl pops out for cleaning and sits protected inside that silicone shell. It even has a lid so you can pre-pack the pipe, cover the chamber, and toss it in your bag to smoke later.
That’s clutch for concerts, camping, or any session where discretion and readiness are key.
The removable silicone mouthpiece also has its own little filter that keeps those little scooby snacks from flying through when the bowl is cashed. And you can upgrade the whole setup with Weedgets’ patented Carbon-X filters if you want to take the filtration game even further.

Plus, every piece of the Maze-X comes apart easily, and the container it ships in also doubles as a cleaning vessel. Just disassemble and toss the parts in the box with some isopropyl alcohol or grease-cutting soap. Then, shake, rinse, maybe repeat, and you’re back in business.
And here’s what makes this thing stand out:
It’s not just a nice pipe; it’s endorsed by the American Cannabis Nurses Association. That’s a rare nod from real medical professionals who recognize how the design of this pipe actually reduces tar intake while simultaneously cooling the smoke to a less-irritating temperature.
The bottom line
For $100, the Maze-X isn’t a budget buy. But it’s built like something that’ll outlive every glass pipe I’ve ever shattered. Between the cooling maze, medical-grade materials, and simple cleaning system, it’s a real evolution in pipe design—and a solid alternative to smoking joints. It still won’t replace my papers entirely, but it’s earned a permanent spot on the coffee table.
