Eight current and former prison employees were charged Tuesday in the death of an inmate who lost 50 pounds over two weeks and died of dehydration while being restrained in 2019.
More than $15 million in grant funding authorized by the state legislature last year is now headed out to local communities to help them manage more than a dozen dams statewide.
