Gun reforms have been a top priority for Michigan Democrats for years. And now they’re set to carry them to the legislative finish line—with plenty of support from Michiganders.
Legislation approved by the Michigan Senate on Tuesday will provide relief for retirees by phasing out the retirement tax, and help lower-income families by significantly expanding the state’s Earned Income Tax Credit from 6% to a 30% match of the federal rate.
