First elected to the Michigan House of Representatives in 2022, John is a tireless advocate for the rights and welfare of hardworking Michiganders. From championing bargaining rights, to improving schools, enhancing healthcare accessibility, and driving economic opportunity, John remains unwavering in his commitment to bettering the lives of Michigan residents.
A native Michigander himself, John was born and grew up in a small town near Lansing and attended Michigan State University. He and his wife Kellie moved to West Michigan in 2014, and quickly became an active part of the community.
John was elected to the Wyoming City Council in 2020, where he developed a reputation for tackling major community initiatives, including improving infrastructure, public safety and pedestrian safety and lowering taxes.
