The Art Farm in Fennville is a sort of incubator for creatives and artists, everyone from spoken word to designers and musicians. Nestled in nature off Lake Michigan, it’s the perfect cannabis-friendly place to birth your next big idea—individually or as a group. Nearby Saugatuck, which has excellent public transportation, was recently voted America’s No. 1 coastal town. 


Great for Groups of Ganja Lovers

The Nest is a bed-and-breakfast-style vacation home that curates cannabis experiences from paddle boarding to infusion dinners. The weed-friendly home can accommodate up to 20 guests for overnight stays, events, and parties.

The Ruby Kush Cabin is camping with cannabis stripped down to the basics. Run by a single mom who loves nature and exploring National Parks, she’s thought of everything: accessories to smoke, munchie and fridge pack options, and supplies on hand to get you started. There are two bedrooms, and she can accommodate up to four guests. Nearby there’s fast food, local coffee, and a general store, all within walking distance.

A budget-friendly option, the Firefly Stargazer Suite is a simple setup with a wrap-around porch, patio furniture, and green space all around. At less than $100 a night, it’s a genuine chance to unplug from the day to day and get lost in the stars at night. Hastings is north of Battle Creek and the only city in Barry County, so a true escape for those who need it.

Tents, Yurts, Joints, and Dabs

Haven Campground is 10 acres of campsites that offer privacy when you want it and a true celebration of connecting with nature (each campsite is themed after a Michigan tree). The grounds are veteran-owned and feature a few select furnished yurts with queen beds for ganja glamping. Perk: They allow dogs. 

Pain Re-Leaf Retreat

This women’s wellness retreat center is on a small Northern Michigan farm. A quiet healing oasis, it’s run by an RN and holistic practitioner who uses cannabis and other herbal remedies for pain relief, massages, workshops, and wellness activities.
