From the shores of Superior to Huron, our readers weighed in with their favorite beaches in the state.

Find your beach, beckons the slogan of a popular lager. But commercial marketing interest aside, finding peace on the water is a mindset many Michiganders live by.

So recently, we asked a question to our followers on Facebook: What’s the single best beach on the Great Lakes?

Hundreds of Michiganders answered the call. And as you’ll see, the responses didn’t disappoint.

While several respondents liked to keep their getaway on the down-low—can’t really blame them—others were happy to share their little sliver of heaven. We’re choosing to highlight beaches that got the most love, but you can see the full comments here.
