Autumn in Michigan calls for more than cider and donuts.
MICHIGAN—Forget pumpkin spice lattes. For me, fall in Michigan means hoodies that smell like weed smoke and bonfires, color tours that double as hotbox sessions, corn mazes that only make sense after an edible, and dispensary hauls that feel a bit like stocking up for hibernation.
This is my favorite season of the year, and it deserves weed with the same energy—so I’ve rounded up seven Michigan-made strains and edibles to help keep the fall vibes rolling.
1. Cannabis-infused apple cider
Nothing says fall in Michigan like a cold cider.
And this year, three infused versions are giving stoners a new excuse to skip the orchard.
Lume just rolled out a limited-edition Buzzn Apple Cider, a crisp seasonal twist on its wildly popular THC seltzer line that recently passed one million cans sold in Michigan. At 7.5 mg THC per can, it’s light, refreshing, and currently on sale—6 for $18; 12 for $33; or 24 for $60.
For a stronger sip, Armada Cannabis Co. is keeping things authentic with its Cannabis Apple Cider, made from fresh-pressed Michigan apples and packing 20 mg of nano-emulsified THC. Smooth and balanced, it’s best enjoyed cold with donuts from your favorite apple orchard.
And if you’re looking for something in between, the new Honeycrisp Apple Seltzer from Highly Casual, with 10 mg of THC, might just be your best bet. Made with real Michigan apples, it’s crisp, clean, refreshing, and it’s dangerously easy to crush a four-pack in a single evening.
2. Honey Apple Crisp by Michigan Loud Flower Farms
If autumn had a house strain, this might be it.
Grown by the artisanal crew at Michigan Loud Flower Farms, Honey Apple Crisp blends Apple Fritter and Strawberry Fritter into a fruity, purple-tinged bud that’s equal parts uplifting and relaxing. The nose hits with bright fruit, the smoke leans smooth and sweet, and the high walks the line between euphoria and calm—perfect for stress relief as the days get shorter.
3. Voodoo Vapes
If you’re looking for something spooky, Voodoo has it down to a science.
Packaged in mini casket-shaped boxes and wrapped in Day of the Dead–style skeleton art, these vape carts look like they were designed to be smoked by ghosts. The Harrison Township brand has been around since 2018, making its own cannabis-derived oils in-house and loading them up with natural terpenes for that full “entourage effect.” The lineup is broad, the flavor profiles hit clean, and honestly, it’s some of the most fun packaging on dispensary shelves.
4. The Last Bite by Gelato Cannabis
Everyone knows the best part of an ice cream cone is that crunchy little tip filled with chocolate at the bottom—so the folks at Gelato Cannabis are infusing them and selling them by the bag.
It’s called The Last Bite, and each cone comes packed with 20 mg of THC, with 10 cones per bag. And just in time for fall, the company has dropped a new pumpkin pie flavor that turns this already-delicious stoner snack into a full-on seasonal dessert. Genius.
5. Drink mixes from Northern Connections
When the temperature drops, nothing hits like a warm mug. And Northern Connections has figured out how to make it stoney.
This small Michigan-based company makes both hot cocoa and cappuccino mixes that are infused with 50 mg of THC each. Just stir a package into some hot water or milk, sip slowly, and let the chill of fall meet the buzz of Michigan-made edibles.
6. Hazelnut Crunch Chocolate by Detroit Edibles
Detroit Edibles gave its classic Barracuda bar a seasonal glow-up. The new “Premium” line uses 65% Belgian milk chocolate, and the Hazelnut Crunch bar feels tailor-made for fall—rich hazelnut filling, crispy cornflakes, and a cozy sweetness that pairs perfectly with cooler nights.
Each bar carries 200 mg of THC, broken into 20 easy 10 mg squares that can take up to an hour or two before they really kick in. Think of it as stoner comfort food for sweater weather.
