Looking for the best Green Wednesday and Black Friday cannabis deals in Michigan? We found seven that stand out.
MICHIGAN—Black Friday isn’t just about big-box store chaos anymore.
In Michigan’s weed world, it’s become something else entirely.
Dispensaries across the state now treat Black Friday like a full-blown holiday, often dropping their steepest discounts of the year, giving away goody bags to their first customers, and opening their doors at hours that only make sense to people who wake-and-bake on principle.
And before the madness even starts, there’s “Green Wednesday,” the unofficial stoner holiday that’s built for stocking up before a long Thanksgiving weekend with your extended family.
This week, I dug through my junk mail to find the deals that actually stand out.
Here are the seven worth grabbing:
1.) Bloom City Club
With dispensaries in Ann Arbor, Kalamazoo, Sturgis, Ypsilanti, and Paw Paw, Bloom City Club usually goes all-out for the Green Wednesday and Black Friday holidays. And with everyday prices at record lows, this year is expected to bring its wildest array of discounts to date.
Look for $20 ounces, $8 eighters, $12 trim ounces, 40% off select brands, and other dank deals. Plus, the first 75 customers to spend $75 on Green Wednesday will get a “Danksgiving Grab Bag,” a mystery bundle of cannabis products that usually ends up paying for itself twice over.
2.) Rolling Embers
It’s buy two, get one free on all weed at Rolling Embers for Green Wednesday. And for Small Business Saturday and Cyber Monday, customers can earn double or triple reward points.
But for Black Friday, the New Buffalo dispensary is treating the holiday like a competitive sport. The doors open at 4:20 a.m. and the discounts hit in waves—starting with a 50% off storewide blitz before sunrise. The deal drops to 30% off at 5 a.m., 20% off at 7 a.m. and 10% off at noon.
Goody bags will also be distributed to customers throughout the day.
3.) First Class Cannabis
First Class Cannabis operates dispensaries in Ann Arbor, Benton Harbor, Camden, Jackson, and Lansing. And the deals might look a little different from store to store. But regardless of the location, you can expect to find steep savings on just about every product.
In Benton Harbor, for instance, customers can save 50% off products from Jeeter, Mitten Extracts, Glorious, Choice, Cali-Blaze, Hyman, MKX, Muha Meds, Doghouse, and more. Plus, the first 100 customers who spend $25 on Green Wednesday will win free goody bags.
4.) Lume
Say what you want about corporate cannabis, but Lume knows how to run a sale. And with more than 40 locations across the state, it’s a convenient pitstop for most Michiganders.
For Green Wednesday and Black Friday, all ounces are $69 storewide—except for its award-winning Jenny Kush strain, which will be selling for a bargain price of $125 an ounce.
Just about everything else from pre-rolled joints to edibles will also be sold at a steep discount. Look for a 4-for-$40, mix-and-match deal on eighters; a 3-for-$25 deal on infused pre-rolls; a buy-one-get-one deal on edibles; and a huge 15-gram bundle of concentrates for only $75.
5.) Mango Cannabis
Mango Cannabis in Lansing is dropping a buffet of deals—including 50% off products from Redemption, Bowhouse, Kiva, Terra, Lost Farm, and Camino; 40% off Rove, Pressure Pack, Spyder Legs, and Clout King; and buy-one-get-one deals on Church and Peak Extracts.
Plus, the discounts will keep on going for Cyber Monday with 35% off all online orders.
6.) LIV Cannabis
With six dispensaries in Detroit, Ferndale, Grand Rapids, Lake Orion, Lansing, and Westland, most Michiganders needn’t travel far to take advantage of the deals at LIV Cannabis.
Most of the Green Wednesday and Black Friday deals run all week through Nov. 30—including up to 50% off cannabis products from Jeeter, Breeze, Fresh Coast, Wyld, Camino, Kiva, Lost Farm, Petra, Sherbinskis, Mitten Extracts, Detroit Edibles, Common Citizen, and more.
7.) The Fire Station
One of the most popular dispensaries in the Upper Peninsula—with stores in Marquette, Houghton, Ironwood, Menominee, and Sault Ste. Marie—is rolling out 50% off deals on a variety of products from Five Star Extracts, Glacier, Wana, Camino, Mary’s Medicinals, and more.
Customers can also expect to find a wide variety of bundle deals on vapes and pre-rolls.
