Your weekly guide to taking action in Michigan (April 3-9)

By Abigail Deatrick

April 1, 2026

A weekly roundup of Michigan protests, political events, advocacy opportunities, and ways to take action statewide–Friday, April 3 through Thursday, April 9.

More than 100 rallies and protests took place across Michigan on No Kings Day this past Saturday, with thousands of demonstrators making their voices heard. Now, our attention turns to what’s next.

Building on this momentum requires continued collective action to protect our democracy and hold our leaders accountable. We do that by staying informed, voting in elections, and engaging in local organizing and advocacy efforts.
