MICHIGAN—Which brands are growing the best cannabis in the state?

We’re not looking for the best marketing, packaging, or strain names. We want your picks for the best weed—cannabis that has been properly cured, stinks up the room, and burns clean. We want to find the growers who chase terpenes and care how the weed actually makes you feel.

The last time we ran this readers’ choice poll was in 2023. And a lot has changed.

Taxes are up, prices have plummeted, and some cultivation operations seem to be cutting every corner they can to turn a profit. Michigan is still home to some of the best weed in the country, but plenty of brands are now consistently churning out some of the bunkest skunk on the shelf.

So, we’re running it again—and leaving it to the people who know best.

Below you’ll find a ballot with a list of suggested brands. But importantly, this poll is open to any company that is actively growing marijuana for the recreational market in Michigan. If your favorite brand isn’t on the list of suggestions, just use the write-in box to make a pick.

Vote for up to three brands. One ballot per person. Voting closes on Sept. 30, 2026.

When do the results come out?

This voting form will close on Sept. 30, 2026. We’ll count everything up—including the write-ins—and publish the list of Michigan’s best cannabis brands in October. The full results will be released exclusively in the MichiGanja Report, our weekly newsletter about all things weed.
