Looking to make an impact on Election Day? There are ways to take action beyond casting your ballot. You can sign up to serve as a paid poll worker, volunteer to help stop voter suppression as a poll watcher, or remind neighbors to vote and celebrate at a Party at the Polls.

Here’s how you can get involved on Election Day in Michigan:

1. Serve as a poll worker

Poll workers are paid and trained local government workers who assist with running local elections. Learn the specific requirements, pay, and application information for your area.

2. Volunteer as a poll watcher

Every eligible Michigander deserves to cast a ballot without intimidation or obstacles. Here’s how to become a poll watcher to help protect the right to vote by observing and documenting the election process. Poll watchers can report concerns to the challenger liaison and document what they observe.

3. Party at the Polls
