For Michiganders who celebrate, this guide showcases the best cannabis gifts, events, and shops that will make memories beyond April 20.

MICHIGAN – Spring is in the air, and on every block, the aroma of flowers and fresh blossoms on trees beckons us closer. But come to think of it, there’s something else in the air around this time of year too.

Spring doesn’t just mark Earth Day or April blooms. It also means that April 20 is on the way—giving those who enjoy cannabis the perfect occasion to light one up.

The ritual of 420 began in 1971 with a band of high school buds who met up in the school parking lot every day at 4:20 to partake in their favorite after-school activity. Now, the three numbers represent a cultural phenomenon and an experience for experienced smokers and novices alike to celebrate all the products, forms, and benefits of the plant.

So in celebration of this very special day, we’ve rounded up the coolest and most unique ways to partake in 420. From events and festivals that are outside-the-box to the perfect gifts and deals that are totally worth shopping for, here is our list of the 24 ways to best commemorate 420 this year in Michigan.
