Looking for something fresh to dab this summer? Need to stock up for 710? These award-winning concentrates are packed with terpenes and pure Michigan pride.
MICHIGAN—Summer is too short to waste on bad dabs.
And with Dab Day festivities just around the corner, I figured this week was the perfect time to round up six of my favorite concentrates on Michigan’s recreational cannabis market.
These aren’t random mystery extracts crammed into a pre-roll. They’re potent, flavorful, and made right here in the Great Lakes State by brands that actually give a damn.
Some are award-winners. Some are straight from my personal stash. All of them are available in Michigan dispensaries right now—and every one of them gets the job done.
Cherry Burger Special Sauce by North Coast
Special Sauce is North Coast’s cold cure rosin. It comes in a variety of strains and it consistently tests at over 7% terpenes—packing a flavor punch that rivals some of the more expensive jars on the shelf. It’s also got that wet, creamy, peanut butter-like consistency that dab heads obsess over, and the kind of smooth, full-bodied pull that makes you forget how much you paid for it.
And here’s the kicker: It’s usually cheaper than North Coast’s fresh-pressed or standard cold-cured jars, even though the quality is still just the same. I found the Cherry Burger Special Sauce for under $30 a gram at House of Dank, which was made even cheaper with a discount.
Oishii Live Rosin by Wojo Co.
Oishii is Japanese for “delicious,” and honestly, I can’t think of a more fitting name. This small-batch live rosin from Wojo Co. is a terpene lover’s dream: Zkittlez-forward with a citrusy lime twist and just enough gas on the back end to remind you that it’s not playing around.
The flavor hits light and fruity, but don’t be fooled—it creeps. Fast. One dab in and your taste buds are floating somewhere tropical while your body starts melting into the nearest soft surface. I usually save this one for when I’ve got zero plans and plenty of snacks.
Wojo has built a cult following for their top-shelf solventless lineup, and Oishii puts their reputation on full display. It’s not the cheapest concentrate on the market—usually around $40 a gram—but if you’re chasing unique flavors and potent effects, this is the one to beat.
Sour Peaches Rosin by True Organics and Ice Kream Hash Co.
True Organics is a mom-and-pop operation that treats cannabis like actual agriculture—with living-soil beds and no automated factory farm vibes. That ethos shines in their latest collaboration with Ice Kream Hash Co., turning small-batch weed into solventless gold.
The Sour Peaches live rosin I picked up at Lake Life Farms ($50 a gram) comes out in a glossy, cold-cure dollop that smells like a peach-berry smoothie crashed into a funky cheese plate.
Take a low-temp dab and you’ll get waves of tart stone fruit, rogue blackberry, and just a hint of savory dankness. The high is an even-keeled cruise—uplifted at first, then a mellow body blanket that hangs around for hours without wiping you out for the rest of the evening.
This collaboration made for a jar that punches well above its price point. So if you’re chasing complex terpene profiles and a clean, long-lasting buzz, this is your summer sleeper pick.
Pineapple Pez Extract by Humblebee
Humblebee has quietly built a reputation among Michigan concentrate enthusiasts for clean, strain-specific extracts that actually taste like the plant from which they came. And its Pineapple Pez full spectrum extract is a perfect example of what it does best: fruity, fragrant, and flavorful.
Crack open the jar and you’ll get smacked with an overt sour citrus aroma that leans tropical without going full candy. It’s not just pineapple—it’s like pineapple with a bite. Dab it low and slow and you’ll pick up layers of fruit and funk, all with that classic Humblebee smoothness.
Full disclosure: This is not the strongest dab on this list. But for $40, it’s one of the most reliable, mellow, mood-lifting, and surprisingly versatile. Good for daytime use. Also great for winding down. Perfect for anyone who wants to taste their terpenes without getting totally wrecked.
It’s worth noting: Readers of The MichiGanja Report picked Humblebee as one of Michigan’s best concentrate brands last year, and this particular strain helps to explain why.
Mackinaw OG Live Rosin Vape by Information Entropy
I set out to build this list around raw concentrates—real dabs, not disposable vapes. But this little live rosin pen from Information Entropy was just too damn tasty not to include.
Mackinaw OG (a Mackinaw Peaches x OG18 hybrid) hits hard with diesel and kush flavors on the inhale, then softens into this weirdly delightful peach finish that keeps you coming back for another pull—and then another. It’s clean, smooth, and surprisingly nuanced for a disposable.
Perhaps best of all, it’s made with real, solventless live rosin—not distillate. That means you’re getting the full-spectrum experience of a full-blown dab rig, just in a more convenient, pocket-friendly format. And at $30, it’s one of the best vape values I’ve seen so far this year.
Live Rosin-Infused Donuts by Uplyfted Cannabis
I know—technically, this is a pre-roll. But hear me out:
Uplyfted’s Live Rosin Donuts aren’t your average infused joints. These are hand-crafted cannons packed with whole nug flower, then loaded with a solventless live rosin core and finished off with a glass tip for max airflow. They’re smooth, flavorful, and seriously potent—especially the OG Runtz x Honey Banana I smoked for the Best in Grass competition.
At about $30, they’re not cheap. But if you’re concentrate-curious and want a zero-fuss way to experience solventless power, this is one hell of a ride. Just maybe clear your calendar first.
