Authorities in Jackson, Michigan, warned residents of potentially hazardous air quality after a large fire broke out at a vacant commercial building on Tuesday, August 22. The City of Jackson said crews managed to contain the fire by Tuesday afternoon, but said that residents concerned about air quality should continue to keep their windows closed and air conditioning off.
