Are you ready to rally? This weekend kicks off with The Good Trouble Lives On Weekend of Action, a nationwide civic mobilization honoring Congressman John Lewis. Taking place July 17–19, 2026, the weekend centers on three pillars: teach, reach, and preach. Hundreds of voter registration drives, rallies, and training are taking place across the US, with dozens of events across Michigan. Check out these moments from last year’s protest in Lansing.

- Lansing: 10 a.m.-12 p.m and 5:30-7 p.m.: Register and check voter registration statuses.
- Livonia, 1-3 p.m.
- Midland, 11 a.m.-1 p.m.: Hear speeches from leaders in the civil rights movement. A
- Oak Park, 10 a.m.-12 p.m.
- Sterling Heights, 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Register and check voter registration statuses outside Dodge Park.
- Traverse City, 12 p.m.: Join the Good Trouble Assembly and Traverse Indivisible for a non-violent protest.
