Michigan Medicine, BCBS reach agreement (CBS News): Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan and Michigan Medicine have reached a tentative contract agreement, avoiding a healthcare coverage disruption that could have affected about 300,000 Michigan patients and employers. The deal means Michigan Medicine hospitals, clinics, and providers will remain “in-network” for Blue Cross members while both sides continue finalizing details before the current contract expires June 30.
Interlochen to demolish Epstein-donated lodge (MLive): Interlochen Center for the Arts plans to demolish a former dorm building donated by disgraced financier Jeffrey Epstein, saying the structure no longer reflects the school’s values. Michigan lawmakers are now planning an investigation into his past connections to the school.
MSU president departs for Clemson (LSJ): Michigan State University will soon begin searching for its sixth president in eight years after President Kevin Guskiewicz accepted the top job at Clemson University just days after MSU approved a major pay raise meant to keep him from leaving.

5. Special Olympics Michigan 2026 State Summer Games
