This week’s highlights include a commemoration of the 50th anniversary of the sinking of the Edmund Fitzgerald in Detroit, a women-centered arts festival, and holiday markets galore.

Get a head start on your holiday shopping at this year's Kalamatopia. (jordimorastock/Canva)

As the cold creeps into Michigan, our weekend events begin to ebb and flow.

Nevertheless, there’s always something to do in the Mitten! This week’s highlights include a commemoration of the 50th anniversary of the sinking of the Edmund Fitzgerald in Detroit, a women-centered arts festival, and holiday markets galore.

As always, I’d love to hear your suggestions! If you know of an upcoming event you want me to highlight, send me a note here (please send suggestions at least one week before the event).
